Please review our packing and luggage suggestions on our website. We do not provide luggage handling and you will be required to transfer your luggage to and from the bus, train station, and hotel. Please consider limiting your luggage to one suitcase (preferably carry-on) and one backpack or purse. Please keep in mind that our tours involve a great deal of walking.
Small Group Size
Our tour groups are small with a limit of fourteen members. This allows us to visit all the best sites, restaurants, and hotels where a larger group could not be accommodated. We do not rely on nametags, bullhorns, or matching uniforms to visit a site. We know our clients by name.
Dining
Our favorite part of traveling in Italy is the food and wine! We plan for long lunches and dinners true to the Italian way of life. The restaurants on the tour are also frequented by locals and serve typical area dishes. Local wine is included with each meal.
Accommodations
We book intimate, yet modern, accommodations in the heart of the locations we visit allowing our tours to stay immersed at a destination before and after the crowds have left for the day.
What We Do Not Do
We do not cram our tours with endless site visits rushing from one to the next. Sometimes it’s just better sit down for a good cappuccino and enjoy "la dolce vita". We do not make the “shopping stops” other tour companies make for the tour guide to receive a kickback. We tread lightly on the villages and sites we visit. By respecting the local culture our customers are rewarded with friendly service everywhere we visit.

We visit the best sites of Rome, Florence, and Venice including the Veneto area.
Includes: Breakfast each morning, three lunches and five dinners including local wine, nine nights of lodging, and first class train.
