What a lovely way to spend two weeks meeting new people and places. I have told all my friends that we could not, in any way, have put together such a wonderful trip ourselves. The restaurants and food selections you made were certainly a highlight in our memories. The bus excursions were actually another of our best time spent, to see so much of tuscany in it's beauty while someone else drives and colors in the details is beyond anything I might have imagined.

We just returned from a five week tour of Europe (France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and the UK) with our three children, ages 10, 8 and 5. Planning a long trip like this is tough enough. I never expected my European holiday to be as amazing and flawless as it turned out to be. Starr took care of absolutely everything -- from providing the web site to get a US Passport application to making sure our hotel in Geneva was near a laundry -- there wasn't a single detail of this itinerary left to chance. To top it off, I received my train tickets along with maps of the stations and a list of common phrases in the local languages (Italian and French). Don't expect that from your local franchisee travel house! Traveling with my brother created unique challenges as TTE had to arrange for "twin" rooms that were "en suite", relatively close to the railway station, within our aggressive budget and yet dripping with all the Continental charm I was expecting as a first time European traveler. Starr hit each of these challenging objectives right on the mark. She all but took the trip with us by sharing her amassed knowledge. I can't say enough to praise the efforts of my friends at Travels to Europe. They are a terrific, caring and dedicated team of travel professionals who receive true joy by creating the adventures lived out by their clients. BRAVO!
